Itinerary
This tour starts at around 7:30 a.m., we will pick you up from the hotel in Cusco 15 to 20 minutes before the tour take off, we will start visiting Awana Kancha centre where you can see the weaving process and have a close encounter with native animals, being the South American camelids such as llamas and alpacas.

Next stop is the Archaeological Site of Pisac located 45 minutes from Cusco. Pisac will give you an idea of the advanced knowledge that the Incas achieved in architecture. Composed of platforms, domestic structures, ceremonials and aqueducts that provided water for the agro-business operation. Another good reason to visit Pisac is its craft market, where you can find some unique and authentic souvenirs.

At noon, we will go to the town of Urubamba where we will enjoy the buffet lunch that will allow you to enjoy the delicious Peruvian cuisine. Urubamba was one of the main agricultural centers of the Empire of the Incas. Currently, the villagers harvest the best corn in the world, and in the rainy season, the Valley’s own fruits are abundant, such as peaches, capulí, strawberries of the highest quality, among others.

Later in the afternoon, we will visit the Ollantaytambo fortress that was built to be a strategic military, agricultural and religious center to administer and control the Sacred Valley of the Incas; historians figured this out due to the constructions, which presumably were used as agricultural deposits and for military uses like walls and watchtowers. This archaeological site comprises a series of overlapping terraces, showing the impressive and large stone blocks finely carved and located on the upper terrace.

The tour of the Sacred Valley ends in Cusco at around 17:30 hours. Upon our arrival in Cusco, we will leave you close by the Main Square (Plaza de Armas). Our private services will take you from and back to our hotel Antigua Cason San Blas.

Itinerary
For the group tour we will start right at the Main Square with the Cathedral and then head to Qorikancha in the city of Cusco, this last wonderful temple is considered sacred as it housed Inca priests charged with worshiping the Sun God.

We will continue our guided tour through the archeological centers located around the city of Cusco; such as Saqsaywaman, its Quechua name means "satisfied hawk" and it was built with huge blocks of stone.

Another site we will visit is Q’enqo, Quechua word that means "Labyrinth or Zigzag" coined by the Spaniards for its labyrinthine underground galleries and for the small channels carved in zigzag.

We will continue our tour with a brief overview of Puka Pukara, called the “red fortress”, it is built with stones with that color tone and finally we will arrive at Tambomachay which was an Inca temple dedicated to worship the water. Our group tour ends with the transfer to the city center close to the Main Square (Plaza de Armas). Our private services will take you from and back to our hotel Antigua Cason San Blas.

Itinerary
We'll take you from the hotel to start our trip at around 07:30 in the morning taking the route to Chinchero, a bit further we start going through crops and fields towards our destination. After an about 50 minute drive we'll get to a weaving centre located in a very special spot from where you can see Chinchero size, something not possible from itself, and learn the process of weaving and dying technics.

Moray, a huge display of ring shaped terraces will catch your attention. These terraces, which are carved deep into the earth in a bowl shape, were thought to be used to determine the optimal conditions for growing crops. There are three amphitheater-like terraces made by the Incas around the area.

After our visit to Moray, we now get to Maras to visit the salt flats or salt mines where its habitants continue taking advantage of the salty water. An association of the villagers gives all of them the opportunity to trade souvenirs and handmade sculptures made of salt. The landscape of about 4000 flats can be seen from the top of the place. Our group tour ends with the transfer to the city center close to the Main Square (Plaza de Armas). Our private services will take you from and back to our hotel Antigua Casona San Blas.
