Attention to detail is what makes Antigua a truly special hotel. My parents and I stayed in the suite for 2 nights and loved every moment of our experience. The rooms, the aesthetic, the staff, and the food - they were all impeccable.Take for instance the first 10 minutes after check-in. Cusco was cold when we visited. Fortunately, the team had us covered! When we stepped into our room, we were greeted with 2 flasks of hot water and 3 tea bags, placed in their own insulated glass mugs, ready to be brewed. The room heaters had tags attached to them that explained the ideal temperature for a good night’s sleep. And just to make sure that we didn’t get the chills as soon as we got into bed, the team had placed hot water bags under our sheets. The list of thoughtful little things goes on and on. In a nutshell, Antigua was worth every penny!

Staying at Antigua was like a dream! Definitely the place to stay in Cusco. I stayed upon my arrival and then after my trekking tour ended, which was much needed. Staff, food, facilities, service were excellent. Nothing was ever too much trouble for staff. The evening turndown service with a herbal tea was a nurturing touch. The rooms were divine - comfortable, clean, with beautiful plants, and gorgeous decor (I wanted to stay here forever!). The breakfast buffet was full of delicious fruits, nuts and other tasty items. The shared spaces were stunning and made relaxing and unwinding so easy. The Exhala yoga space and sessions were bliss for my body and mind. And the cherry on top was the spa. I booked in the Inka Treatment for my last day, and my goodness, I almost cried with joy and delight when I saw the spa space. The spa treatment itself was extraordinary, a private jacuzzi and steam sauna, followed by an incredible massage, plus refreshing lemon and cucumber infused water and fruit. I've never felt so pampered before.

The design of the hotel is beautiful, and the tranquil outdoor area with fire pits is perfect for relaxing with a drink from the bar or hot tea at the end of the day. The breakfast is delicious, with many nourishing and creative options to choose from. The staff are kind and attentive, and you will feel at home with the tea and hot water bottles brought to your room in the evening. Staying here was a highlight of my trip. I couldn’t recommend it more.

What is Valle Sagrado Verde?
[from vallesagradoverde.org]
In 2020 the families, communities and companies of the Sacred Valley have been strongly affected by the covid-19 pandemic and the consequent economic crisis. Much of our economy depends on tourism, the complete cessation of this industry has led us to rethink many of our objectives and also motivated us to work on strengthening our communities and environment.
With the dream of a Green Sacred Valley we see the opportunity for a more prosperous and healthy future.
We invite our friends and clients to participate as well. They can do it by donating directly to the reforestation program or acquiring services and products from our partner companies. In this way you give us a hand now, we will take care of you as soon as we can and all together make the world a better place.
